Bridging the Gap Project (DC) seeks a Program Specialist

Bridging the Gap promotes an informed and engaged public discourse on U.S. and global foreign policy challenges and solutions. We offer training and advocate for academics to pursue policy-relevant research and theoretically grounded policy work. Bridging the Gap simultaneously engages policymakers in the work of political scientists and scholars of international relations.

The program specialist executes the logistical aspects under the full supervision of the Associate Director of the Bridging the Gap initiative, a $700,000+ foundation funded program dedicated to connecting research and policy, primarily in the fields of political science and international relations. The program specialist is responsible for updating the social media messaging for the project, updating the website, as well as assisting in the execution of multiple workshops under the direct supervision of the Associate Director, as well as administrative tasks. The program specialist is responsible for maintaining a scholar database of over 400 scholars.
