The Duke Investment Club is the premier student finance organization at Duke University with close to 1,000 members. It is run by undergraduates under the supervision of faculty advisor Emma Rasiel and focuses on financial education and professional development.
The club manages a $50,000 portfolio of the Duke Endowment, and it meets each week to present investment pitches, summarize market events, and discuss a wide range of topics in the world of finance and business. Every semester, it teaches an introductory finance course, the Investor Training Program, open to all students.
In addition to offering students job-like experience and training, the Investment Club offers students unrivaled networking and mentorship opportunities and has a strong history of successful alumni placements.
The Investment Club is a favorite partner of Duke alumni and top firms, working to facilitate on-campus recruitment, host events, distribute opportunities to its large member base, and serve as a general liaison for all corporate requests.
Alumni looking to connect with Duke students interested in finance can reach out here. Additionally, the club is grateful for any and all financial support that may enable future competitions and other events and welcomes donations.
