Saturday, May 20
9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Felix Project Thomas Road Industrial Estate, Poplar, East London, E14 7BN
The Felix Project collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold. They deliver this surplus food to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society. Join London alumni for a great morning, contributing to an important project aiming to relieve food poverty and reduce food waste. At their site recently visited by King Charles, we will be sorting food that has been donated for redistribution to community charities and food banks. Health & safety training will be provided, as well as safety clothing and refreshments.
For more information and to sign up, contact Robin Buck, AB '94: buckrobin@yahoo.com. Registration due by Tuesday, May 2.
