Join the Duke DC Women's Forum 12th Annual Holiday Wish List Drive to bring joy to local children in foster care. This holiday season we are sponsoring 30 children ages 10 months to 20 years. Help us ensure that the giving season reaches these families by purchasing pre‐selected gifts from an Amazon registry.

Instructions about purchasing your gifts

Option 1

Purchase from the Amazon Wish List or substitute with a comparable item. Please make sure to ship to the Wish List address so the appropriate Women's Forum volunteer receives the gift for coordination. If there are no more items left to purchase or you are short on time, please consider Option 2 below.

• View the Amazon Wish Lists above to select your gift recipient. Include the name of the child on your package. Ship gifts to the volunteer leader indicated on the list for coordination. 
• Gift cards (physical) are welcome - Visa, Target, Safeway, Walmart. No electronic/emailed cards please.
• Age-appropriate books are welcome too!
• You may bring gift cards and books with you if attending the wrapping party. If you do plan on bringing a gift to the wrapping party or sending a gift not on the wishlist, please email Jessica Steinberg at jess.steinberg410@gmail.com to share the gift details and name of recipient child.

Please register to join alumni, families and friends to toast the holiday season and wrap gifts! 

You do not have to purchase a gift in order to attend the party. Please bring wrapping paper, bows, scissors and tape if you can!

Following the party, all gifts will be delivered to the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Child Welfare Services for distribution to the children and families.
