Join us for our third program in the Conversations with Leaders - Latin America & The Caribbean series presented by Duke University Development and co-sponsored by the Duke University Hispanic/Latino Alumni Association (DUHLAA) and the Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies (CLACS). We are honored to welcome Duke Trustee and Co-Founder of Partners In Health, Dr. Paul Farmer ’82, P’19, who has been recognized internationally for his impactful work at the intersection of public health and human rights. For this exclusive discussion, Dr. Farmer will be joined by top faculty from the Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI), who are re-imagining solutions to the most pressing medical challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean.
DGHI faculty will include: William Pan, Associate Professor of Global Environmental Health; Nimmi Ramanujam, Professor of Biomedical Engineering; and João Vissoci, Assistant Professor of Surgery & Neurosurgery.
