The Duke Sanford School of Public Policy has recently become a national leader in technology policy. As part of that effort, Professor David Hoffman and a team of students have launched the Duke Cyber Policy and Gender Violence Initiative. The project focuses on ways technology impacts gender violence and what public policy solutions can mitigate the problem. This session will describe the Initiative and specifically focus on how COVID-19 has exacerbated issues for domestic violence victims.
