Swap your Blue Devil horns for a chef's hat and join Duke Colorado for an opportunity to prepare and serve a meal from scratch to families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities - Denver and Aurora locations.  

In many communities and cultures, it is traditional for friends and neighbors to prepare meals for their loved ones who are caring for a sick family member. It is an act of kindness that translates feelings of concern into a tangible expression of human compassion. When families return to the Ronald McDonald House after a long day at the hospital it is nice to have a hot, delicious home-cooked meal prepared for them, which is where YOU come in. 

There are two opportunities to volunteer:

Dinner from 4:00PM-7:30PM on Friday, June 14th at the RMHC-Denver - 10 spots available
Brunch from 8:00AM-11:30AM on Saturday, June 15th at the RMHC-Aurora - 10 spots available
      *These times include both set-up/prep and clean-up. 

Both sessions are group volunteer opportunities meaning they will consist of 5-10 individuals each. Meal selection/menu will be pre-arranged and Duke will cover the cost of all ingredients.

A hot meal can do wonders for families who spend long days caring for their seriously ill children. Signing-up to help prepare a meal is a great way to help nourish the bodies and souls of RMHC families while also giving back to your local community surrounded by fellow Dukies.

With space to accommodate 118 families between the two houses, it is easy to see the profound impact that RMHC-Denver has had on the community for over 45 years and Duke Colorado is excited to get-in on the action!
