The right to vote is a fundamental tenent of our American democracy. However, over the past few years, America’s faith that our electoral process is fair and free has been shaken. Accusations of electoral fraud, voter suppression and intimidation, unbalanced campaign finance rules, gerrymandering, and international tampering have called into question our electoral integrity. As we head into the mid-term elections, join us for a discussion lead by Sanford Dean Judith Kelley exploring some of these accusations and the potential impact on free and fair elections and the state of our democracy. We’ll be joined by John Wester JD’72 and Dan McCready ’05 to add a local flavor to the conversation.
