Duke Alumni Brunch

Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach are scheduled for December 5 - 8, 2019. To coincide with this, the Duke Alumni Association has organized its annual signature event at one of the most prestigious and well-known waterfront locations in the City of Miami.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary and known as Miami's premier anchor fair, Art Miami has partnered with the Duke Alumni Association, to offer a world-class experience for Duke alumni and friends during this year’s signature brunch on December 7, 2019. In this extraordinary venue, with its sister fair alongside, CONTEXT Art Miami, Duke alumni have the opportunity to see some of the finest works from around the world. With two famed fairs in one location, it's sure to be a spectacular event.

Art Miami Private Guided Tours

This year, we are excited to offer exclusive guided tours after the brunch that will provide an excellent introduction to the fair and give you the opportunity to walk through the show in the company of a professional curator. Looking at art through the eyes of a curator’s perspective will give you a unique understanding of the artworks, and a more in-depth experience. Additionally, this hour-long private tour will give you a chance to meet other alumni that share an interest in art.​

DAA Event Refund Policy

Event Cancellation by Sponsor

The Duke Alumni Association (DAA) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.If DAA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 5 business days before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. These above policies apply to all DAA Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
