Join Duke alumni, parents, and current students for DukeNY Career Conversations featuring Meg Ichikawa Brod '96, Senior Managing Director at Rockefeller Group. Meg will be interviewed by Margaret Blaydes Vitrano '91, Managing Director, Portfolio Manager at ClearBridge Investments.
Meg will share her successful career journey from mutual fund analyst to highly experienced real estate developer and investor. In her current role as Senior Managing Director at Rockefeller Group, she oversees the company’s current office, residential, industrial and mixed-use developments in the Northeast region. Prior to Rockefeller, Meg was principal at Bedrock Real Estate Partners, and VP at Equity Residential, where she started the firm’s New York Development Group. Meg has also previously worked at Tishman Speyer Properties, Pritzker Residential, Wellington Management Company and J.P. Morgan.
Meg is a member of the REBNY board of directors, and an active member of WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate. She has received numerous recognition and awards including Bisnow's "New York Power Women," Crain's Notable Women in Commercial Real Estate, and Crain’s Notables in Real Estate 2021.
DukeNY Career Conversations is a 30-minute, virtual series (15 minutes facilitated conversation followed by 15 minutes of moderated audience Q&A) designed to help the DukeNY community continue to expand their professional Duke networks, gain helpful Forever Duke career path advice from successful alumni in the Tri-State region, and be inspired. Since its May 2020 inception, the DukeNY Career Conversations series has showcased more than 30 alumni from across Duke schools and industries. Recordings of past segments are available on the DukeNY website in the front page 'Announcements'. The 2021-2022 series will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, through June.
