Join alumni and friends for a reception and conversation with Sanford School of Public Policy Professor Jay Pearson. Immigration, race and social discrimination have garnered considerable attention in recent political discussions and media outlets. Professor Pearson will lead a discussion around U.S. racial construction and immigration policy as well as their contemporary impacts on social well-being and health. Come see why Professor Pearson’s dynamic teaching style about difficult topics earned him the Richard Stubbing Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Award in 2017.
