Join fellow Duke alumni, family and friends for a Duke Alums Engage project to help preserve our beautiful waters and coastline. Duke Puget Sound is partnering with Puget Soundkeeper to remove accumulated coastal debris.

This is a standard coastal cleanup—we will collect trash and marine debris; all cleanup supplies will be provided by Puget Soundkeeper. More than just unsightly, marine debris creates problems for fish and wildlife through ingestion, strangulation, entrapment and injury. With its central location, Myrtle Edwards/Centennial Park is quite popular which also increases its chance of accumulating litters and debris. Please join us and get dirty for the clean Puget Sound shorelines.
