This fall semester at Duke University, the Sanford School of Public Policy is organizing a signature virtual speaker series to explore important
policy conversations to move forward democracy, justice, equity, community, strategy and human rights, in honor of our school’s founder Terry Sanford.

On Monday, September 21, we will talk about criminal justice. Stand For Justice will feature three speakers: Kassandra Frederique of Drug Policy
Alliance, Alec Karakatsanis of Civil Rights Corps, Bianca Tylek of Worth Rises, and will be moderated by Duke Law’s Center for Science and Justice, Brandon Garrett. The talk is co-sponsored by Duke Law’s Center for Science and Justice and Duke Sanford Hart Leadership Program.
