The Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy is marshalling its network of experts from Duke, across the country, and around the world to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in real time, guiding federal and state leaders through this unprecedented public health crisis. Dr. Mark McClellan, Duke-Margolis Director and former FDA Commissioner, is at the center of the nation’s efforts to combat the pandemic and will talk about the steps needed for a comprehensive COVID-19 response and safe reopening of our country. In a discussion moderated by Duke Trustee Emeriti David M. Rubenstein A.B.'70, P'15, Dr. McClellan will address critical questions related to testing, development of therapeutics and vaccines, and implications for Duke and our nation.
