Still want to be a Cameron Crazie?
Duke San Diego works to keep the over 1,400 Duke alumni in the San Diego area connected with each other and with Duke. The chapter is has a fantastic series of events and very engaged local alumni leadership. Duke San Diego partners with Duke Southern California for large events and programs.
By working collaboratively with all of Duke’s schools, affinity and identity groups, and university groups, Duke San Diego creates a local Duke presence. We plan and host Duke-wide signature events, educational and social programs, and networking opportunities across multiple industries. We gather to learn, to celebrate the achievements of Duke and its alumni, to participate in civic-engagement programs in our community, to welcome new Duke alumni, to interview prospective students and more.
Events in the San Diego region include:
- Service learning events through Duke Alums Engage
- Regular events organized by affinity and identity groups, schools and other Duke programs
- Forever Learning events including Faculty Fellow speakers, talks by other Duke faculty and leaders, and a book club
- Social events including game watches, young alumni events, holiday parties
- and much more
