We are so glad that you found your way to this page. Our 5000 alumni are the heart and soul of the Nicholas School. These "green" Blue Devils can be found around the country and around the world, in laboratories and think-tanks, in the halls of Congress and the jungles of Central America, on the top floors of corporate headquarters and the ground floor of grassroots NGOs – in every sector and at every level. Nic School alumni carry their Duke experiences everywhere, helping forge a more sustainable future for all.
How to get involved: Go Grow Give
What is go • grow • give?
The Nicholas School of the Environment has recently established a new alumni engagement initiative aimed at increasing alumni involvement at the school and throughout the world through facilitating both the giving of time and money. The campaign has three parts: go, grow, and give. These parts give our alumni the ability to engage with the Nicholas School in a variety of ways. Alumni can participate in one aspect of the campaign or in all three.
What is changing?
“Go • Grow • Give” represents a shift in Nicholas School alumni engagement initiatives. We now recognize that time is a resource that can be given to the School and have created a system that will make it easy to get involved. Alumni volunteerism will now be tracked so that we can properly thank those that volunteer. Alumni who give their time are just as valued as those who donate monetarily.
How can I get involved?
It’s easy! To go, update your alumni contact preferences on the Duke Alumni Network to receive event invitations. To grow, complete the volunteer interest form on our website to tell us your preferences. And to give, donate any amount to the Annual Fund. Have questions?
