The Duke Law Alumni Network, with over 11,000 graduates worldwide, is a powerful and close-knit community of prominent leaders in the law from the private sector to the White House. We welcome all Duke Law alumni, other Duke graduates in the legal profession, students, and friends to engage with one another through educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and social activities. Read on to learn more about the opportunities that await you.
Duke Law activities include:
- Discussions with faculty experts
- Programming around practice areas and interest groups
- "How to" programs on topics like estate planning
- Lifestyle programs on topics like well-being and work-life balance
- “Welcome” gatherings for recent graduates in various regions
- Networking and mentoring activities with current students during the summer
- Happy hours, sporting events, and cultural outings
- Civic engagement opportunities
- Joint programs with alumni of other Duke schools and units, and with graduates of our peer law schools

Attend a Duke Law event: Find a social, cultural or educational event on our calendar and sign up.
Volunteer with Duke Law: By volunteering your time, talents and expertise, you help to strengthen the school and provide opportunities to inform, engage, mentor and serve. Consider serving as an event planner or sponsor, mentor to students and other alumni, class agent, class reunion committee member, and more. Help advance Duke Law by becoming an active member of the Duke Law community. Regardless of the level of involvement you choose, you will make a direct positive impact.
