In April of 2015, Duke University’s Rubenstein Library acquired the Lisa Unger Baskin Collection in collaboration with the Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History and Culture. Baskin describes the collection in a single quote: “The unifying thread is that women have always been productive and working people and this history essentially has been hidden.” We hear from one of the women who was critical in the acquisition of this collection for researchers and inquirers alike. The piece was produced in the course Introduction to Audio Documentary ,taught by John Biewen, at the Center for Documentary Studies.
