The American Dance Festival, now in its seventy-third year, took center stage at Duke from June 8 through July 22. This year's festival boasted forty-two performances--twenty-five premieres among them--by companies and artists based in Israel, Spain, Russia, Japan, Argentina, and the United States. It also celebrated local talent through Acts to Follow, a series of five free shows featuring the works of twenty professional North Carolina choreographers and their companies.
