Walltown Children's Theatre

The Walltown neighborhood in Durham is a predominantly black neighborhood just off the shoulder of Duke’s East Campus. In a low-income area, Walltown Children’s Theatre provides opportunities for youth to get off the street and immerse themselves in performing arts. Duke junior and Durham native Susannah Roberson reported on how the studio, now celebrating its 15th birthday, has uplifted the Walltown community.
