Through this empowerment training work, Herink became a recipient of the International Rose Award.

Herink earned her BA in Psychology from Duke University, is a Certified Life Coach through The Life Coach Institute, is trained in the Hakomi method of body-centered psychotherapy through the Hakomi Institute, Boulder, CO, and is certified as a Facilitator through Woman Within International, Ltd. Herink brings enrichment to her work through the multicultural influences of living overseas and extensive international travel.
