Over 40 volunteers attended the Women’s Forum Leadership Conference held on Feb 18 in downtown Durham. The inaugural event kicked off with a keynote by Lois Shannon ’84, former consulting and marketing executive and founder of The Women’s Network. Attendees then joined concurrent sessions on the new alumni network and leadership development and structured “How did you?” discussion groups to share ideas and questions. The day closed with a fabulous reception hosted by Cynthia Brodhead.
Congratulations to the New York and Philadelphia Women's Forum leadership teams for winning prizes for the highest percentage of attendees relative to region size. New York won a social gathering hosted by DAA for their steering committee and Philadelphia won a pair of tickets for a game during the 2016-2017 basketball season, courtesy of DAA, to raffle at a future event.
