AUC Annual Embassy Reception and Summer Cocktail

Duke alumni are cordially invited to join us for the American University Clubs of France's Annual Embassy Reception and Summer Cocktail on Monday, July 10, 2023, at the historic Hôtel Talleyrand.

Location: Hôtel Talleyrand, 2 Rue Saint-Florentin, 75001 Paris

Time:  Entry will be between 18:30 to 19:30. Our cocktail with Champagne and aperitif will begin at 19:00 and will end at 22:00. There will be a welcome speech at 19:00.

Exploring the Impact of Collaborative, Interdisciplinary Research Through Bass Connections

In 2013, the first Bass Connections research teams embarked on ambitious projects to tackle real-world challenges ranging from gender inequality in STEM education to children’s mental health to climate policy in the U.S. to rural poverty. Since then, the program has supported nearly 500 interdisciplinary teams and brought together more than 4,000 faculty, students and staff to conduct cutting-edge research spanning dozens of disciplinary fields and world regions.

Duke Mock Trial - Volunteers Needed Feb 18 & 19

Judges are needed for Duke Law’s annual Twiggs-Beskind mock trial tournament. Each spring, student teams compete in a five-round tournament for the chance to have their names inscribed on the Twiggs-Beskind trophy. This year features a criminal law case.

PM Round – 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
