Springtime in Croatia offers the perfect backdrop for our educational cycling adventure! We will pedal coastal Croatia and its islands, and explore en route medieval and Renaissance cities that were important to the Greeks, Romans, Venetians, Austrians, Hungarians, and Croats. Marvel at bustling Split, a still-inhabited ancient Roman city and site of Emperor Diocletian’s famous 3rd-century A.D. palace, and cycle two of the Mediterranean’s most picturesque islands—Brač and Hvar. Enjoy cycling through and past picturesque coastal towns and rural areas, charming villages, tranquil vineyards, and scenic landscapes; and take time to visit historic sites, immerse ourselves in the local culture, and indulge in delicious Croatian cuisine and a wine tasting.

Korčula and Dubrovnik Extension May 23-26:

Continue your adventure with an optional, three-night, post-tour extension to Korčula and Dubrovnik. Begin with a ferry from Hvar to the island of Korčula, enjoying two days of cycling its roads through sleepy stone villages and family vineyards, including a guided tour of the main town and optional time at leisure. Our final (non-cycling) day is dedicated to the enchanting UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dubrovnik, with a walking tour of the city and time at leisure.
