Relish face-to-face encounters with two of the world’s last great frontiers – Southern Patagonia’s majestic fjords and glaciers and Torres del Paine’s stunning scenery – on this remarkable 16-day small group journey showcasing South America’s diversity.  Experience vibrant Buenos Aires during a three-night stay, seeing the Argentinian capital’s highlights, attending a tango show, and touring independently.  After exploring Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, board a comfortable small ship for an extraordinary four-night cruise through the storied Tierra del Fuego archipelago.  Some cruise highlights:  the Beagle Channel, fabled Cape Horn, shore excursions to spectacular glaciers, Magellanic penguins, and the Strait of Magellan.  Disembarking in Punta Arenas, travel to breathtaking Torres del Paine for a three-night stay with daily excursions through the park’s pristine wilderness.  The adventure concludes in sophisticated Santiago with sightseeing, a home-hosted dinner, and visits to a local winery and colorful Valparaiso.  Discover magnificent Iguazu Falls with a 2-day/2-night pre-tour option.
