Your exhilarating 15-day small group Himalayan journey, limited to just 18 guests, begins in Kathmandu.  Visit iconic Swayambhunath Temple, an ancient Buddhist complex.  Continue to culturally rich Patan and enjoy a walk through Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO site.  Share lunch with a Nepalese family and visit renowned 15th-century Boudhanath, Nepal’s largest, most important Buddhist stupa.  See Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine, and proceed to Nepal’s former capital, Bhaktapur, a UNESCO site.  Take a scenic drive to hilltop Nagarkot village, commanding a spectacular Himalayan vista.  Fly to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, and experience Bhutanese culture first-hand as you dine with a Bhutanese family.  Raise prayer flags at Dochula Pass en route to Punakha.  Embark on a thrilling river rafting trip, and reaching historic Paro, tour Ta-Dzong, the national museum.  Conclude with a highlight:  a visit to the Tiger’s Nest monastery hanging from a cliff some 3,000 feet high.
