Duke India launched in January and is led by entrepreneurs Sanjay Kamlani ’91 in Mumbai and Bharat Tandon M.B.A. ’86 in New Delhi, as well as Eric Savage ’92, cofounder and president of the global poverty-reduction firm Unitus Capital in Bangalore.
More than 100 alumni and their guests met on January 8 for a dinner with Laurie Patton, dean of Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, who spoke about how a liberal-arts education can help address poverty, health, and financial security in the country.
