With Duke Lemur Center
Journey to Madagascar, a place where more than 90% of plant and animal species are found nowhere else. Created in collaboration with the Duke Lemur Center, global leaders in lemur research and conservation, this unique itinerary showcases the island’s extraordinary biodiversity and dramatic settings, from lush rainforests to striking sandstone formations. Expert-led nature walks, close-up wildlife encounters, and insights into Malagasy culture and conservation efforts offer a rich and balanced experience. A commitment to responsible ecotourism ensures that local guides, locally owned lodges, and community partners benefit directly.
Since its founding at Duke University in 1966, Duke Lemur Center has worked in Madagascar for over 35 years, collaborating with local people and organizations to protect the island’s endangered species and embrace a community-based approach to protect the environment.
