The 16-day journey begins in Cairo where it includes a visit to the renowned Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo. After this we step into the Giza Plateau to see the three famed pyramids. In Abu Simbel we take in the four statues of Ramses and then embark on our Nile Cruise where we explore the ruins of the acclaimed Temples of Philae. We take a relaxing sail on small feluccas, replicas of ancient Nile sailboats. We tour the Temple of Horus and, at Luxor, tour the East Bank, which includes the Valley of the Kings.  We visit Alexandria, where we see the Catacombs of Kon El Shoqafa and the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In Ancient Alexandria sits the Great Library of Alexandria, considered one of the greatest accomplishments of antiquity. One of the highlights of our tour is the National Museum of Alexandria before we conclude back in Cairo.
