DREP now has a representative on the DukeNY Alumni Association Board of Directors. Joe Stevens T'89, of Annaly Capital Management will begin his service in July 2020.

BIO: Joe Stevens has 30 years of broad-based experience originating and managing commercial real estate debt and investments on behalf of large financial institutions and public REITs. Since 2014, he has been originating structured real estate credit debt and equity investments for Annaly Commercial Real Estate. Prior to Annaly, Joe covered national accounts and real estate funds for CIBC’s US Real Estate Group. From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Stevens was a Managing Director and co-head of the retail-focused alternative investment group at Kimco Realty. Joe represented Kimco on several investment committees and boards of its investment entities. Prior to Kimco, Mr. Stevens worked at GE Capital Real Estate in various capacities including, managing the debt and JV equity Mid-Atlantic team based in Washington, D.C. Mr. Stevens holds a BA degree in Public Policy from Duke University and is an active member of ICSC and ULI.
