The Native American/Indigenous Student Alliance is continuing its push for a minor in Native American and Indigenous studies, which would be housed in the cultural anthropology department. Associate Professor of Anthropology Courtney Lewis believes the minor would be “a stepping stone for making Duke a global leader in Native American and Indigenous studies.”
