Absorb Croatia’s remarkable history, culture, and unspoiled Dalmatian coastline on this captivating 15-day small group journey.  A tour of Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, reveals a gracious city of culture and hospitality, taking in the historic Old Town and the colorful Dolac market.  Spend two nights in Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, with its romantic bridges and abundant parkland.  Experience lovely Lake Bled by boat, and journey by train into Postojna Cave’s depths.  Discover charming Opatija and encounter the fascinating history and Mediterranean atmosphere of the alluring Istrian Peninsula.  In Plitvice Lakes National Park, see the famed turquoise-colored lakes.  Visit picturesque Split, touring 3rd-century Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO site.  A two-night stay follows in Venetian-tinged Hvar Town, on Hvar, “queen” of the Dalmatian islands.  Your final destination is treasured Dubrovnik, “Pearl of the Adriatic,” for a three-night stay.  Experience the charms of the small Balkan gem of Montenegro on an optional 4-day/3-night post-tour extension.
