Join us for a family-friendly special night at the historic Ford's Theatre to see the musical comedy Sister Act, with an exclusive pre-performance reception open to the first 50 registrants.

Sister Act is a riotous musical comedy based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet! To escape the mob, a nightclub singer hides in a convent. While there, she helps her new sisters to discover their powerful voices while she finds her own. This uplifting, Tony-nominated musical features original music by Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors). The show is directed and choreographed by Jeff Calhoun (Broadway: Newsies, Ford’s: Violet, The Civil War, Freedom’s Song, Shenandoah).

We extend a warm welcome to Sanford Professor Kristin Goss and her class of Duke in DC Spring Semester students who will join us for the reception and show. Special thank you to our generous host, Michael Hemmerich '80, J.D.'85, M.B.A.'94, who serves on the Ford's Theatre Board of Trustees.
