The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center was created as a platform to showcase the innovative initiatives being undertaken at Jack's Solar Garden in Boulder County, Colorado.
Founded in 2020, Jack's Solar Garden is a 1.2 MW community solar garden that spans just over 4 acres of land, with solar panels covering the entire area.
The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center welcomes you to a private tour of Jack's Solar Garden, followed by a casual lunch.
Before registering for the tour, please consider the following:
- Tours are conducted entirely outside.
- Surfaces throughout the site are unpaved and uneven.
- The site is exposed to the elements, with very little shade or cover.
- Please dress for current/expected weather conditions. Please bring water as there is no potable water available on-site.
- There is one non-ADA accessible port-a-potty on site, please plan accordingly.
- Leashed service animals are allowed on site, but must be kept controlled.
- Pets are not allowed on the site.
- We require each attendee to register individually for this tour so that they can complete the liability waiver.

AED Event Refund Policy
Event Cancellation by Sponsor
Duke Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If AED cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 5 business days before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. These above policies apply to all AED Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
