Join your Duke Austin community for an exclusive guided tour of the Texas Capitol, followed by a meet-up at the nearby, historic Texas Chili Parlor! 

The Texas Capitol is widely recognized as one of the nation's most distinguished state capitols. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986. The nearby Texas Chili Parlor, an iconic establishment, boasts a rich history dating back to 1976.

Meetup

Please plan to meet inside the building at the Capitol Tour Guide Office, located on the first floor in the south foyer of the building. There are four main entrances to the capitol, and after passing through security, capitol staff can help direct you to our meeting location.
